An Unexpected VisitorThe Kakapo, an endangered native bird is making a comeback, not only in the wild but in my uniquely New Zealand art.
Prints Inspired by New Zealand Landscapes and Fauna
I love to reflect the uniqueness of New Zealand landscape, flora and fauna in my work, this makes for quintessentially New Zealand Art. These links to New Zealand in my art work are sometimes subtle and at other times more overt.
All prints on this page are digital artworks created using Midjourney and Photoshop. Available as a limited edition Giclée print or canvas print in various sizes.

A Strange EncounterThe iconic kiwi has lend his name to all New Zealanders. I liked the idea of having him appear as a character in a surreal work, leaving questions in the mind of the viewer, and locating this work as distinctly New Zealand art.

Fella and FriendsIn this work, I wanted to create a double take with a scene you would almost expect from New Zealand art, and then by adding the Zebra, create the unexpected.

Coffee with the NeighbourThis image was inspired by a visit to Russell where we heard kiwi in the undergrowth. I liked the idea that they were so close by that they could pop in for a chat over coffee.

Hokianga Coffee BreakThe landscape in the far north of New Zealand is simply stunning, the fact that we can encounter kiwis, weka and kaka makes this area particularly special.

Arty Woman and KakapoThe delightful character of New Zealand's, largest parrot suggested the need to have him chatting with someone arty and unusual.
